Roseate Spoonbill’s at Lake Osborne

I have been watching a pair of Roseate Spoonbill’s for about three weeks now, and tonight I was finally able to get close enough to capture some images of them at sunset. I had to follow them for quite a while because it seemed my 70-200 lens was an attractant for obnoxious people on golf carts and one fellow who felt he should walk his dog within a couple feet of me while I was wading in mud on the perimeter of the lake. But, patience prevailed and they returned after they were scared away and I got my photos!

Love one (or all!) of the images shared below? Head over to my shopping cart here.
