When I heard that my friend Bridget from the band Elephant Revival was working on a performance of the Danse Macarbe with the Tierro Band I jumped at the chance to attend and photograph the event. It was also a Masquerade Ball and held the Saturday before Halloween (my favorite holiday) at the Sunrise Ranch in Loveland. The night started out with a spooky horse drawn carriage to a delicious dinner held on a the hillside of the ranch. During dinner my daughter and I ended up sitting with the dancers of the show, and she was absolutely captivated by them and their stories. I can only imagine what her little mind was thinking and imagining while listening to them. The performance after dinner was delightful and the Dancers were fantastic. Their rendition of the Danse Macarbe was skillfully played and we enjoyed every minute. These are a few shots from the evening.
